1. General Provisions

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes what data the Fimijo application (“App”, “we”) collects, how it is used, stored, and protected. MitMit is developed by MITMIT LLC, registered at 3524 Silverside Rd Ste 35B, Wilmington, DE 19810-4929, United States.

By using MitMit, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Data We Collect

2.1. Data provided by the user:

  • First and last name (or nickname);
  • Email and/or phone number — for registration and authentication;
  • Profile photo;
  • Content you create: event descriptions, agendas, chat messages, ratings and reviews.

2.2. Data collected automatically:

  • Location data (precise or approximate) — to display nearby events and to create your own events on the map;
  • Device technical data (model, OS, unique identifiers) — for push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and app stability;
  • App usage data (event views, interactions, analytics) — to improve the product.

2.3. Data from third parties:

  • If you sign up via Google/Apple Sign-In, we receive your name and email as confirmed by the respective provider.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Creating and managing your account;
  • Displaying events and activities near you;
  • Enabling chat and communication between event participants;
  • Sending push notifications (event reminders, review requests, etc.);
  • Content moderation (reviews, events) for community safety;
  • Analytics and product improvement;
  • Processing payments for paid features (e.g., Secret Event), if used.

4. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with:

  • infrastructure and cloud service providers (hosting, backend);
  • analytics and push notification services (Firebase / Google);
  • payment providers — solely for processing paid features;
  • as required by law (upon request from authorized authorities).

5. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored for as long as your account exists. Upon account deletion, data is removed in accordance with the “Account Deletion” section (see separate page). We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • correct inaccurate data (via your in-app profile);
  • delete your account and associated data (see instructions below);
  • withdraw consent to data processing by contacting us.

7. Children

MitMit is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email.
